Celebration is a key, to involving them and me: A poem about motivation and success
It is about having fun, playing with new ideas, and then anchoring those new ideas to commitments for improvement.
So, people Celebrating Success is an obvious key. It builds spirit and allows for more cooperation and workplace motivation in the journey forward.
What we did in developing The Search for The Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine team building exercise it so link all of the key game design features to very solid metaphors. The goal is to Mine as much Gold as we can. The Turbocharger allows the teams to go twice as fast. Extra Fuel is needed to deal with the mud that gets in the way of making progress. The videos represent the need to do strategic planning and gather all available information before moving forward. The Expedition Leader’s expressed role is to help teams be successful.
And so on.
But the exercise is A Game and a key is to have fun while learning something.
It’s all about teamwork and mining gold.
